I doubt its fake. I don't think Matt would be the guy to fake something like this. Plus, if it were fake, wouldn't they have coordinated to use a marked cruiser? And gotten some cool flashing lights/siren?

Plus it looks to have aftermarket exhaust tips and a trailer hitch on it. No vic with factory exhaust that I've ever seen has the tip sticking out so far from the bumper.

Just looked at that and I agree, those are definitely not the tips I see on all NYPD Vics around here. It'd be interesting to see what the California PD uses for under cover cops. I also remembered that you're our resident Panther expert. What's your take on the car?

This is all probably just a hoax because I highly doubt Matt is that oblivious to his surroundings. Plus I'd imagine we would have seen some red/blues at the time to.
